2- خونگرم هستند (درست مثل پرندگان) البته انواع تخم گذار اون ها ( مثل پلاتی پوس) هنوز برخی خصوصیات خزندگان رو دارند و خونسرد هستند

3- دارای پرده ماهیچه ای دیافراگم ( بین سینه وشکم) هستند که در اکثر اون ها مهمترین ماهیچه تنفسی محسوب میشه

4- هر چی درباره مهره داران صادق باشه، خوب در مورد اینا هم صادقه ! مثل داشتن شبکه مویرگی کامل( بسته ) ، دستگاه عصبی مرکزی و محیطی ، ایمنی اختصاصی ( لنفوسیت ، پادتن ، پرفورین و …)
